The Vermont Soccer Association and Propel Pro have launched a new program aimed at expanding access to soccer development across the state.

The Vermont Development Program is designed to offer structured opportunities for athletes at all levels, according to a community announcement. The initiative follows a successful pilot within the Vermont Soccer Association's Olympic Development Program.

The program features multiple tiers of participation, ranging from no-cost, team-based entry to advanced, individualized coaching experiences. At the highest level, Sporting Vermont brings together the state's top athletes and coaches, according to the announcement.

"The Vermont Development Program serves as the foundation of the expanded partnership, introducing a structured development pathway for athletes at any level who are looking for extra development and improvement opportunities beyond what their local club provides, regardless of club affiliation or geographic location," according to the announcement.

The program provides athletes with access to coaching beyond traditional team environments. It integrates live weekly group sessions, asynchronous video analysis with detailed coaching feedback and individualized plans.

"This partnership is about improving how athletes and coaches stay connected," Daniel Levy, CEO and founder of Propel Pro, said in the announcement.

A core focus of the initiative is addressing access challenges, particularly in rural and underserved communities.

"It comes down to access," Andrew Minnis, executive director of the Vermont Soccer Association, said in the announcement. "There are a lot of players here who want to train more but don't have the opportunity through their local clubs. This gives them a way to take ownership of their development and stay engaged more consistently. It also creates more touchpoints between players and coaches, which is something we've been missing."

The program is structured across three age bands: 8-10, 11-14, and 15-19.

Every athlete and team can enter the program at no cost, with a 30-day trial providing full access to the Select tier experience, including live sessions, coaching feedback and development planning.
